“Eunomia – Sustainable Development” is a scientific journal published by the University of Applied Sciences in Racibórz. Issued continuously since 2018, the journal has been steadily evolving into a periodical of increasingly international scope as a result of expanding global academic cooperation.
Both institutions are united by a shared commitment to promoting the principles and challenges of sustainable development. The importance of this subject has grown significantly, particularly in the context of post-pandemic challenges and the current geopolitical and military situation worldwide. These ideas have been present in Eunomia since its first issues and today play an increasingly important role in scientific discourse and economic practice.
The journal addresses sustainable development as a contemporary economic concept that advocates the harmonious development of the global economy while respecting the needs of future generations. Published articles focus on interdisciplinary issues related to economic transformation, innovation, and responsible management in the context of dynamic socio-economic changes.
From its inception, Eunomia has operated under an open-access model, providing free and full-text access to all published issues through its website: https://eunomia.akademiarac.edu.pl/
The journal’s high academic quality is confirmed by positive annual evaluations and its indexing in the ICI Journals Master List, an international database that has assessed scientific journals in terms of quality and impact on the advancement of science for many years. Its consistently high evaluation scores demonstrate Eunomia’s growing recognition and position within the academic community.
Eunomia publishes articles by authors from Poland and abroad. Its contributors include experienced researchers as well as young scholars and students at the beginning of their academic careers. This diversity of academic backgrounds fosters interdisciplinary discussion on key concepts, principles, and phenomena related to sustainable development, creating significant value for the wider scholarly community.
An important step in the further development and internationalization of the journal is the establishment of cooperation with the Swiss Institute of Management and Sciences in Zug, Switzerland. This joint initiative between the two institutions will be reflected in the preparation of the next issue of Eunomia, which will serve as a platform for international scientific debate and mark the beginning of broader collaboration in the fields of management sciences and sustainable development.
