A meeting of the Scientific Council of the journal Eunomia – Rozwój Zrównoważony – Sustainable Development was held on 27 April 2023. The meeting of the Scientific Council was attended by the Chair of the Council JM Rector Dr Paweł Strózik, followed by members Dr Jarosław Cholewa, Dr Piotr Olender, Dr Bogdan Wysogląd, Dr Ilona Gembalczyk, Dr Andrzej Widota, Dr Henryk A. Kretek and the Editor-in-Chief Mgr Piotr Mucha.
The meeting began with a discussion of the publication of the second issue of 2(103)/2022 of the journal in print and electronic versions, which was published in the first quarter of 2023, and was informed about the planned publication of the first issue of 1 (104)/2023 of the journal in the third quarter of 2023.
Another item on the agenda was a discussion of the Open Journal System (OJS), i.e. open source software for managing peer-reviewed academic journals, which was developed by the Public Knowledge Project.
The submission of an evaluation survey to the ICI Journals Master List 2022 database was planned and the purchase of DOI (digital object identifiers) was discussed.
This was followed by information about a planned conference at University of Applied Sciences in Racibórz on the topic of sustainable development. The aim of the seminar is to exchange views and experiences between public life activists involved in building civil society, gathered in non-governmental organisations, and representatives of the world of science.
At the end, those involved in the development of the journal Eunomia – Rozwój Zrównoważony – Sustainable Development were thanked.
